Mother’s Day Gift Edit

With Mother’s Day fast approaching – we know you knew that, but it’s on Sunday 14th March this year, it tends to creep up on you, doesn’t it? – now is the prefect time to think about presents for her if that is something you would like to do this year. We thought we’d deliver a host of thoughtful ideas to treat Mom – or a very important woman in your life.

1. For the tea lover

This is the most straight forward gift to any tea lover – our beautiful small tea set wit 2 cups!

It consists of a teapot that can keep 750ml of gorgeous, scented tea which is normally enough for 2-3 standard sized cups of tea so you can share a cuppa together on Mother’s Day. It pours brilliantly without dripping, the handle is a good size for picking up easily, while a full pot isn’t overly heavy to lift.

The set is complete with the adorable sugar bowl, that can also be used as a honey pot thanks to the handy hole on the side of the lid – for your honey dripper, and a small milk jug that holds the perfect amount of milk or cream for two.

2. For the foodie

If you’ve been eating out of the same old mismatched plates all your childhood, surprise the most important woman in your life with the gift of a special dinnerware set.

Life is just too precious to keep your pretty plates and bowls tucked away in the cupboard, and only take them out on special occasions – live for today and treat your Mum to a touch of luxury with this 12 piece dinner set. Bowls, dinner plates and dessert plates enough for 4 to enjoy a starter soup, main dish and some cake.

Do you want to grow your collection, but prefer to do it piece-by piece? Not a problem! We sell our plates and bowls individually as well!

3. For the entertainer

A butter dish, a nice egg cup, salt sprinkled from a fantastic cruet setpeople who entertain or like to enjoy brunches will know these are all important items and these play a role in perfecting the experience.

Our butter dishes can take a pack of butter without touching the sides or top of the lid – we designed them to avoid that annoying experience, and to leave you with no more torn up toasts!

Our egg cups look really cute and if you prefer to go with a DIY project, you can make tiny pin cushions out of them!

4. For the cook

Spoon rests are those things that every household need but not many actually have. Making a curry will mess up your kitchen as it is, but without a spoon rest you may be left with yellow spots all over that beautiful white countertop. Since I’ve managed to stain our kitchen with golden milk – and turmeric powder in particular – I always use the spoon rest after stirring anything that might leave a stain.

5. For the animal lover

We recently started using our large storage jars to store doggie biscuits in them, so now we can keep those on the counter next to our espresso machine without making it look too obvious. The puppies particularly love that clinking noise when we lift the lid, they always know treat time is coming! And for the catsdry food is stored in these as well, so feeding time is a touch more chic now.
